Mission Statement:

The mission of Walden Pond InterArts Learning Center is to help transform the earth through a new process of education that inspires individuals for living lives of wholeness. The arts, integration of the head and heart, are viewed as being any area that expands and makes more beautiful the spirit and the mind of the person, while bringing forth their freedom and individuality.

Becoming in touch with their inner core of creativity, children are guided to realize their own uniqueness and preciousness, as well as that of the world around them, while building high self-esteem. Expanding their own inner-power, strengths, goodness and self-love in their Walden Pond within, one attains the capability of creatively manifesting their dreams and visions.

The center's educational philosophy, called InterArts, holds sacred the unique creative gifts of everyone. At Walden Pond "we are constantly invited to be what we are." [Thoreau]
